Some Orkut users very smart and they know every pin drop of Orkut. But still many users are moderately aware of orkut applications and many users are struck on many applications of Orkut. Many of my Orkut friends are really struck on how to uploading photos/video in orkut. Video upload is very easy and not more users ask me about this but many ask me what was the reason why I was not able to upload photos in my Orkut account ? Here in this blog post I have listed some reason why you were not able to do so.

Two reasons clearly stands out to me which are

1. Photo Size: It really matters what the photo size that you are going to upload. A photo size of large size and resolution would take a large time to upload.

2. Photos file name extension: Check out for the photo’s file name extension. JPEG format occupies less size and the best one where as BMP, TIF and PNG format files occupies large space. So if your photo is in BMP format then convert it into JPEG format.

3. Check your Internet Speed: The problem could be of also of your internet speed. If you have internet connection with low speed then surely it gonna take lot of time to upload and further more if your file is of large size then God knows will it be uploaded or not.

Two things you can do ?
1. Decrease the size of photo using MsPaint or through any of your favorite software.
2. Increase your internet connection speed.

A suggestion:
Best thing which I suggest you to do is decrease the size of photo using MsPaint. It really makes no sense how large is your photo because orkut would be display only the standard photo size in any browser. So decrease the size and upload photo(s) and your internet connection speed will not be a matter of cause.
