Technology Express Train to be Run by Indian Railways Soon

Indian Railways LogoIn an uncommon move by Railway minister Mamata Banerjee has flagged off on Thursday a special exhibition train known as Technology Express which is travel all across India covering 48 stations to make the awareness of Technology growth in India.

She believes that by introducing such trains which will have dedicated six coaches out of 11 in all to information technology. The train will also be released before Common Wealth Games 2010 to advertise about it.

This decision was taken by Mamata Ji at the flagging off ceremony of the Commonwealth Express in New Delhi.

The six coaches out of 11 in Technology Express train will be dedicated to information technology where Department of IT were given rights to the achievements in area of communication and information technology. It will show backlit translites, front-lit digitally printed posters and show clips.
