Are you paying hundreds and thousands of dollars on printer cartridge toners? If yes, then a little saving of toner can reduce your bills to a large extent.
Here is a new way to cut costs of refilling by switching to a less ink-intensive computer font. Switch your print document from default Arial font to Century Gothic and this would use almost 30 percent less ink than the old Arial font for the same document. So whatever print that you give, change the font to Century Gothic. Studies shows that Century Gothic has a thinner print line and so it can save your printer cartridge ink, but the letters can be a bit wider.
This technique wil save a few dollar per toner cartridge ink, reduces bills to a reasonable extent when your toner bill is too large and every little bit of savings is welcomed in print technology.
Certainly this is not my Idea, the idea started by Matt Dornbush (Biology Professor) and was implemented at Wisconsin University located in Wisconsin, US. Dornbus acknowledges switching fonts might not save the planet, but a little thing can save money and resources.
