This is something which looks little extraordinary in India but has to come. Call it as competition for setting record or clearing the backlogs cases Chief Justice A K Shori of civil judge inclined 148 cases on a particular day.

AK Shori is a Justice in Civil court in Kaithal, a small town in Haryana. On Wednesday he cleared 148 cases as he was instructed by state government to clear off the backlogs. Last month on August 1 the same he cleared off 87 cases in a particular day and 223 cases in the rest of the month. Looks like he is quick in clearing the work on the 1st of every month.

There are lot more cases pending in each court from months to months and it has becomes years since there is no hearing. If this is sought out be an example to other judges then India might end up forming the que for hearing of the cases. Do you have any cases registered against any one?
