Reliance Communications the largest CDMA network provider in India who also provide GSM services in the country has announced the launch of first ever mobile numbers with 7 Series for its GSM customers in Tamil Nadu circle. The DOT has allocated the brand new 7667 series for RCOM GSM and becomes the first telecome operator to launch mobile phone numbers starting with 7.

Few months back in India we have seen the launch of 8 series mobiles numbers as the 9 series mobiles is almost full. RCOM would be offering 7 series with the immediate effect on both its pre-paid and post-paid users across its GSM network in Tamil Nadu.
