How to set Homepage in Internet Explorer

Homepage in the Internet Explorer is shown when you click the Home button or when your startup your browser. The default Homepage for the Internet Explorer is . However if you don’t find it interesting or unliked the homepage at the start of your browser then you can change it.

1. Open Internet Explorer
2. At the top of the Internet Explorer window click on Tools, in the drop down menu click on Internet Options (See image below).

3. The Internet Options window will popup, by default it will show you General Tab, if not taking to general Tab the you manually click on it.
4. Here you can set your homepage one of the following

  • Current Page
  • Default Homepage
  • Blank Homepage

5. Choose which you want and click on OK.

These procedure will make sure that your homepage is setup to which you want.

  1. I would rather prefer to put the about:blank rather than any web page rather than the website as homepage, as IE is already slow and with the start itself opening a website would be more load on it.
