How to Renew a Domain Name

Now thats good to hear that you have a domain name and hosting space but remember that every domain and hosting has to renew before it expires. Every domain and hosting has expiry date depending on how many years you book the domain name. In the particular case we will talk about domain name expiry date. Generally in 95% of the cases the domain is booked for one year and after one year domain will be expired after a certain grace period if the domain doesn’t get renewed and so its listed again for sale.

Follow is the procedure to renew a domain name which is about to expire :-
1. Go to the domain registrar where the domain is registered. If you don’t know the domain where it has been registered then check it as Whois Checkup.

2. You must know who has registered your domain name and his Login ID at the domain registrar in order to renew the domain name. In my case I have registered all my domain at Namecheap.com.

3. Now then you will get a Renew Now Logo beside your domain name.

4. Select the domain which you want to register and proceed to towards payment.

5. Make the payment accordingly and your domain is ready for another year. Actually you can renew your domain for more than one year also. The maximum however is 9 years.
