How to go to first result directly in Google Search

Filed in Google Blog 1 comments

Did you ever thought of directly going to the first search result when you search in Google with some keywords. The normal procedure that everyone follows is enter some keyword and then to display all results hit Google Search 1Button, but ever you clicked on I’m Feeling Lucky 2Button.

Google

Suppose if I search in Google with the keyword “India” without the quotes, the first result in Google search is Wikipedia article about India. Normally all click on Google Search Button and then click on any of the top 10 results mostly 60% of the people clicks on the 1st result and 30% distributed among second and third result and 10% on the remaining results. So #1 results are searched more and so Google linked the tagline button i.e., I’m Feeling Lucky Button to the top result in Search Engine. Now then to save a little time on browsing (clicking on Google Search and then again clicking on the first search result) would consume almost all the double time than the process explained here. Note that this willn’t take to you to any sponsored listing in Google.

Certainly this would save a little of yours in browsing and much time for the blogger who always in look of fresh content for their blog.

I don’t click it as sometimes the first search result is not what I was looking for.
