Ya i feel really it’s true.But not all the consultancies are like that Just kelly services is the only organisation which completes fast process but sometimes these people also don’t care and even don’t call for interview if they call they will complete the process soon and please i also suggest u people to not to go to rofous it simply kills time and takes about three months of time for recruiting .they simply conduct rounds of interviews and ask silly silly questons rather than asking subject related questions and kill time.

Hello Yogesh I agree with u but how can u say that student has no practical skills, arey yaar who is testing their practical skills and u say it’s an easy interview process , if it is so easy then why people don’t get selected even though they are so intelligent.
I have practically seen so many people being kicked off who really prepared well for the interview wasting nearly 2-3 months for their whole process in various consultancies.These persons are really mad who have wasted their time just because they love google and they think that they have got atleast an opportunity to attend the interview.But really as the above statement given by suresh is also true and the benefitters are consultancies.I have seen various friends of mine who have come in search of job to hyderabad from remote areas and towns and they live in rooms and they don’t even spend a penny wastely but they have spent for the whole bus charges for attending the interview and have wasted lots of time nearly three months in their life.Do u know the value of time?

Hi I am Rahul and I was stunned to see this blog.Just because Google is such a big organisation and I am really surprised to know that google recruits in this way also.If we see the Google inc’s webpage we can see the following statement

“To all recruitment agencies: Google does not accept agency resumes. Please do not forward resumes to our jobs alias, Google employees or any other company location. Google is not responsible for any fees related to unsolicited resumes”

Ok now it is clear that either google employees at hyderabad are keeping links with these consultancies to eat away the remaining half salary of employee or the consultancies are eating away as all the persons above are saying about.

And the secoond thing is that does google interview for 2-3 months?
Not really these consultancies are playing a big drama to show off that they are giving an opportunity for u people to work in google
but oh my God one to two months is not less time guys.If you persons can really dedicate such a time It’s your wish.
People who are selected are lucky and who are not selected get disappointed surely.
But finally I want to leave a statement that Just by working in google from these consultancies doesn,t make you all people google employees and you all are big VENDORS IN GOOGLE Ha ha ha and I don’t know if google really goes through its policies or not and i am really worried about it.

Hi everyone out here….I want to share my experience about attending the Google maps interview through one of the idiotic consultancy called “Rofous Software private Limited”. This is actually a consultancy but it claims to be a software company always, doing nothing software kinda job but conducting these interview process and hurting people.I was the one who got through all its rounds and after writing the client Written exam well,the next day i got a call that i got rejected.I missed many of my other software classes which i took before attending this interview for preparing well and attending its rounds again and again hopin 2 get thru…First round was JAM then Written exam then Personal round then something called Orentation class..n den ur called for the client interview n gets rejected…its really frustrating..I wasted nearly one n and half month expecting that i will be selected. The rounds were so easy that u cant think u will b kicked off!! M actually a B.tech Computer Science fresher..N i jst attended this interview lookin for an opportunity to work in a big company like “GOOGLE”. But its really waste to spend time in des consultancies rather than lookin for other good jobs, seriously…May be i was too harsh towards des consultancies, but the Truth is truth!! it depends on how u accept…

i came 2 hyderabad for job search as i completed my engineering last year.
I also appeared for Rofous test twice and during 2nd time i cleared the 4th round also and its been 14 days since we got the call from Rofous about our 4th round results and till now we havent got any call about when our final interview will be held. Its really frustrating and earlier they (at Rofous) used to attend the call but nowadays no body answers the call and now i have really lost the hope.
i wasted my 3 months here in hyderabad. infact i should have opted for some training. I would have added some skills to my resume. i dont know till when bad luck will chase so many students of 2009 batch.

Dont work in GOOGLE GIS…….There is no growth in that process…….We can only grow belly with Google provided food but not the career…..Working in a technical support is better than working in Google GIS……..All the best Guys….!

Hi my dear friends I am also facing the same problem from last year sorry from last 2 years. i got selected for google process in Mafoi Consultancy every thing completed on 8th August i selected and received offer letter from Mafoi here i hav 6 months experience i put in that in the verification my ex company gave feed back like he is not standerd in one job permanently then my case was stopped there and i went back to my excompany and made them to send the original feedback to the mafoi again and but still they are asking me to wait what to do tell me my friends

i am pavan i too have the same experience , i have cleared all the rounds for the first time and i got call for the final google hr interview in that i have done well and i was confident about the job as i give my interview without any break for 20 to 25 mins. as after two days friends who attendend with me got the call . so i went to rofous as the people said that there was a confusion with the names of the persons as mine and some other persons name and intial as well are same so they told to wait after two weeks they called me and told that u have got rejected. so then i have again attended throu kelly in may i have complede first two rounds and then written the google paper , from then i didnot got any call about my status.

hi friends. myself kranthi. i even gone through rofous drive at off-campus, held at githam, vizag. in one day we had completed 3 rounds, and after that with in a day we got a call to attend orientation training at hyd, we were here for it but all of a sudden he had conducted an hr interview and filtered the batch. and the very next day i got a call from them to attend client interview at google. that was great . now waiting for results. so dont think bad about it there are only some cases with people like you. hope u too get a call in short….. all the best………..

Friends especially BTECHS, MBAS and MCAS … Dont enter into this GIS process. Dont go for the brand and the food it provides .. That is not your ultimate goal for the future. After the contract getting finished even after 2 to 3years you wont get the experience certificate from google. You’ll get from the consultancy. And think what to do after the project getting finished. U’ll neither have an experience in your field nor growth after GIS. Instead of Wasting 2 to 3months for the preparation and interview process plan abt ur career.. Join in any course or any thing that benifits for future ( long term) . My sincere advice to you all .. think wise… This GIS max works for 2 to 3 yrs more. Wat after that??? Its up to you .. Think

Some people are fustrated with the consultants and i have been with the kelly services for a month now, honestly speking kelly is much faster than you people think and its been a month with the kelly and i went there thrice and the response was not so good but because of the huge croud manage is not able to take care of the interviewers.I am done with all the rounds and waiting for the final round to be done.” I think Kelly is pretty cool !”

Better don’t come to Kelly Services, its much better to follow rofous bcz it may b time taking for joining process but they provide very good services inside here where we find worst cases from Kelly.
Especially the Kelly vendors (Farooque and Kalyanram) treat employees as daily workers.
They always try to escape from their duties showing ridiculous reasons.
They feel as they are CEOs of google. ( Personal experience )
Better don’t try to b part of Kelly Services (for google).

U can try for other two consultancies ( Mofai and Rofous )

Finally,rofous attended my call,but my concerned person went out of station,so i dint get any information about my result status
I told them that i heard that u ppl take even 2-3 months time to declare the results , then she said that ya we do take this much time sometimes ,we do hold candidates.I asked why??? then she answered that there are lot of people in queue.

3.What is an equator?
4.Why we use an equator?
5.What is Prime meridian?
6.Name some google products/services.
7.Tropic of cancer moves through which states in india?

Besides these questions , they will ask u some puzzles to solve there itself.
this was the puzzle asked to me:In a pond there is a lotus , everyday it doubles.At 20th day the whole pond is full of lotuses,then on which day the pond was half filled with lotuses?

Wwithout leaving any dots draw four lines,not even move ur pen back to the same line.

And in last they will ask u to write an essay.

1st round is screening(they give topic to speak)
2nd round is written of 50 marks and 1hr time(including essay of any 1 topic)(cut off is 30marks)
3rd round is also written of 25 question and 5 mts time(cut off is 16marks)
4th is HR
2nd and 3rd round questions in geography,current affairs. geography in the sense capital and their countries,longest highest ,tallest in the world, time difference and so on. then in current affairs they ask abt common wealth games, cm in andra and karnataka,governor of andra,railway minister in india,first artificial satellite in india,and so on

The client round was conducted after a week and on the same day I got a call that I was selected… It was good experience for me through Rofous but however as I am selected now….I was selected for a process called Data Validation not sure wat is it all about….. Hi Guys.I gave my interview at ROFUS and I cleared all the rounds and after clearing 4 rounds ,they said you will get a call for client round.I cleared all the rounds on 11 october 2010 but didn’t received any call yet…..When i inquired they are asking me to keep patients….I was waiting for a call and now its already 1 month but still they are saying keep patients.. …I am very upset with ROFUS People..So I suggest go to Kelly instead of ROFUS…….

I was reading all the comments from march 2010 to Dec 2010. Most of the comments were only queries – mera number kab aiyega? and a very few of asked what is the pattern?

only 2 people gave the questions and the pattern. you or the other guy may have gone to each of the 3 consultancies. it would be helpful to others(New) please do provide some questions and the timing/marks etc etc..while asking when will be my next round.

Yes, We know they are asking easy questions but still few new people are reading this blog needs to know what will be pattern.

Those who do not want to upgrade their IT skills in other areas they can join. Those are in need of finance they can join.

Those who are coming to Hyderabad. Just roam around Raheja IT Park,VBIT,CyberPearl,CyberGateway, Hitec City phase II,Gachibowli,DLF Building etc…etc..

@hellboy and mahesh : how much time after the final hr round,they took for you guys to inform that you are selected.. i finished my hr round on 17dec..,they told me to wait for concerned consultancy’s call.. the HRs were very kind to me and they treated me well.. iam on a positive note and hope to bag a job.. but theres always the second thought… doesnt know what to do..

I am also working in GIS, planning to quit as soon as possible…this is what i can say… and they will ask for bond…so better stay away and hunt for any other good job,, actually BPO job is better than this in case of experience….if u get BPO and GIS jobs, my vote is for BPO job….100% stay away…no use at all…

And IIC technologies is the worst company with dirty office politics and will less salary without any increments too…FRESH GRADUATES don’t get frustrated for not getting a job…i know the pressure that is exerted by the family members on to u…DO NOT ENTER IN TO THIS FIELD IN HASTE…instead go for any course at ameerpet and try for a good n decent job in another field.

kelly is a waste consultancy….i cleared 3 rounds in kelly…they called me for hr round….and in hr round they told again u have to clear 1st 3 rounds.. how stupid it is…..i suggest people not to go kelly…..

Hi guys, I attended all the three consultancies ie rofous, kelly, Serco and Serco is the only consultancy which sends candidates to Google office directly for 3rd round itself (this is my exp). I have 4th round at google now in 2 days. I gave first roundin Serco on feb 28. Gave 2 rounds @ rofous on March 3rd and I cleared it too, they said they will call me after 2 weeks. Also I have been through in 2 rounds on March 9th in kelly and they ask me for 3rd round at kelly itself.

I have offer in Dell as a Tech support Associate, also i have got thru rounds in Serco for Google. Now im really on a hedge to decide between Google and Dell. Dell has lot of pressure and night shifts whereas Google is day and less pressure but the pay package is more in Dell when compared to Google. Google is as you all know off roles and Dell is directly on roles. So Can anyone suggest me which path to take as this decides my career from now on .

Thanks for some suggestions buddy. I went direct walkin to Dell and got a good package too. But before Dell i went for kelly, Serco and Rofous as well to work with Google. I’m in 3rd round in Kelly and Rofous and was in last round in Serco, was waiting for their call. Meanwhile i attended Dell like i said and got through all the rounds and started my training and now its 5th day. Yesterday got call from Serco that i have selected for Job in Google so I was in a fix. &0% people say that i have to stick to Dell as it on roles directly. It was not that hard but also not that easy too. I’m a fresher, I have cleared these rounds, why not guys with experience like you. All the Very best man.

Yes it is on Tehcnica support and I’m into DELL XPS Computers and Laptops support…XPS the best gaming computer experience after Aleinware.
Anyways 1st round would be telephonic round inc PIR
2nd round would be PIR again
3rd round would be HR round who asks basic Q’s about yourself and also on basics of the computer, config, BIOS
4th round would be Versant round ie Voice and Accent..you need to get 60 out of 80 total. you will be having some A to F sections where you have to follow and respond acc to the IVR(this to check ur accent)
5th round is Operational round..if ur exp then he will grill u with lots of technical q’s and if a fresher he would make you ask more about the job u are going into , some personal q’s and also finally techincal q’s like what is settings of BIOS, what is blue screen of death,modem settings,what is router,what is IP, slots on mother board etc etc

Hi Guys……..vn I have the same story to tell you. I attended intervi through HYIT consltacies cleares all three rounds and thy ngotiated salary thing also it has been more that 7 months I nver got call they told that they would call us within month for last client round but we foolishly were waiting and did not get any call………. But again I want to appear for GIS interview I dont know whether I’ll be successful or not……..Just crossed fingers and preparing for the test.

yes if you are PG you can still apply to Dell.the pay package is very good at Dell. Even being fresher, I got very good package and if u r experienced then you should also get more than 3.0 package.

There is no cut off for Dell as it is a client technical support associate position. ALl you need is a graduation and certificates. thats it.
