  1. The big issue with trains booking between 2nd tier cities is that such trains exist but unless there is a direct train you won’t find them on cleartrip – or on the irctc website for that matter. That’s why I wrote up an algorithm and followed up with my free, no ads, website http://www.bharatbyrail.com. That site will find trains for you, including the relevant connections between any 2 cities. You also don’t need to know the exact station name or code like CSTM or NDLS.. Simply entering a city name will suffice – It will find routes between the relevant stations that are in that city.

    If only IRCTC or cleartrip could do this it would help the common man tremendously – by my calculation almost 55% of train routes are not found by their websites – AND they’d make so money too !
