Here is the procedure on how to Set Background Image on Google.com

1. Visit Google.com homepage and look around for Change Background Image. The text should appear on bottom left corner of your browser.

2. Now you will see a pop up interface presenting you some basic pictures that you can set as background.

3. You can upload Pictures from your Computer to set as Background in Google.com

Not only you can upload pictures from your computer, you can also use Pictures from Picasa Web Album too. So Cherish and enjoy Google.com with your favorite background image. Remember that Background image on Google is available for official .com but not for country based Search Engines.
