Some of the users suggest you to call customer care compulsory because you need to specify them your handset model number so that exact settings are send to you but people who suggest you on this they surely haven’t tried this procedure because in this procedure itself you will be sending a SMS with your phone model. The following the procedure to activate GPRS on Vodafone:
The above procedure works for all mobiles handsets for regardless of the states in which you are residing in.
- Send an SMS with the following text ACT VL to 111
- GPRS will be activated in 24 hours.
- After GPRS gets activate, you need to go to settings.
- For settings sms VL <Phone Model> to 56789, Ex: VL N2700 for Nokia 2700 classic.
- You will receive GPRS & MMS settings after some time.
- Save both the settings & get your GPRS is activated.
Note that this procedure would also activate MMS on your mobile, so this also the procedure on How to activate MMS on your Vodafone mobiles. There is not activation fee for this and also there is no monthly minimum rental for both prepaid and postpaid users. However you will be charged depending on your GPRS usage, the present charges are 10 paise for 10kb (10paise/10kb) that you browse or download. So was this tutorial helpful ?

Nice tip. Vodafone has a pretty high pricing though, when we compare with the other network operators for the GPRS services.

1.Send an SMS with the following text ACT VL to 111
2.Then u get a message.
3.after u sent VL to 52586
4. fter that u get msg to install .
and after GPRS activate within 2-3 hours
