Google Adsense Banned my Account- Why?

By Yogesh Patel at 24 July, 2010, 7:40 pm

I am just a normal full time blogger who is dependent on Google Adsense for most of his earning generated. Lately on July 20 morning when I try to login into my Adsense account was was popped up with the message saying your account is currently disabled and check your mails for any messages. The next thing I did is I check my mail and the content what I found in there message to me was

Hello,

After reviewing our records, we’ve determined that your AdSense account
poses a risk of generating invalid activity. Because we have a
responsibility to protect our AdWords advertisers from inflated costs due
to invalid activity, we’ve found it necessary to disable your AdSense
account. Your outstanding balance and Google’s share of the revenue will
both be fully refunded back to the affected advertisers.

This news came as a shock to me and I was left with no answers with it. My blog had CTR or Click Through Ratio averaging 4% or more, used to generated atleast 70+ clicks in a day but the the earning per clicks was quite less say $2 or $3 for all those 70 clicks. Few times I have reported Adsense through Invalid Clicks Form but there was no response from them which indirectly means things are fine and ok.

Certain things which I would like to question Google Adsense. I know they might not read this on time but it shouldn’t happen with other publishers like me. Top Reasons why my Adsense shouldn’t have been banned-

Reason 1. 94% New Visitors implies less fraud Clicks :- If you have existing visitors on your blog then you can feel like there might be chances of invalid clicks by same user but in my case I have 94% my traffic as New Visitors. Check this Analytics Screenshot

Google Analytics Stats

Reason 2. 84% Traffic from India:- My most of the traffic is from India and as all of us know that India top the list in fraud clicks but since my blog has received 94% of visitors as new there is no such fraudulent activities involved . If I have received Clicks on my blog which can’t be called as Invalid Clicks paying  $0.01 or $0.03 then is it my fault?

Google Analytics

Reason 3: Good CPM Rate of less than 4.5%:- A better CPM is always good for the publisher and for the advertisers, so if I had a Click Through Ratio of 4% and higher why should I be worry of it unless and until I and not generating traffic from any traffic source or I haven’t buyed any traffic.

Google Analytics

Reason 4: Tried for my best optimization and if certain AdWords advertisers ask for signup or put up their affiliate link which might not interest my visitor on clicks certainly results in less pay on that particular click, what is the scenario if you receive 20 such clicks which ask for paid signup? I understand that advertisers need their sales up but the final result at the end of the day to the publisher?
