Check your Mails in Gmail without Opening Web Browser

Do you often keep your Gmail open every time for the check of arrival of new mails? I find it always absurd. Does you too find it difficult to keep it always open? If yes, then Gmail Notifier would be a great application for you.

notificationGmail Notifier is an application developed by Google Gmail Team, which alerts you when you have a new mail at your Gmail Inbox. When you download this application to your desktop and install it, it will add a small icon on the bottom right side of your desktop where you usually see the time & shortcut icons in Windows XP Tray. Presently this application is available only for Windows 2000, XP and Macbook user who can download it from here.

With this application you do not need to keep your mailbox open all time waiting for the new message and refreshing your mail. As soon as a new unread Gmail messages arrives, Gmail notifier willpopup showing you the subject, senders email and snippets,  without opening your Gmail in a web browser.

This features is certainly and almost like that we have notification in Gtalk. So users who likes Google Talk might not need to install the Notifier. I don’t like Gtalk and so I would prefer myself to download Gmail Notifier.
