Indian trains runs accordingly on the timetable but in scenario it maybe delayed to problem in technical or line clearance problems. Previously, to know the status whether the train is on time or running late we used to call the general telephone enquiry number 135 and 1345. Now this service is also available online, i.e., you can check the status of running trains online itself.
A site called Train Enquiry is now offering Spot your train information service in which you can check the running train information like where actually the train has reached and how much time it would be late on Internet live. It is called as live train information of trains.
You need to just provide the train number and it will automatically provide you details like give you details schedule arrival time, delay in arrival in hours and minutes, actual/Expected arrival, delay in departure, actual/expected departure, stats when last updated time. And I guess those stats are clearly enough to show how much time amount by which the train would be late.
Well so from now no more calling to general inquiry phone number 135 & 1345 and waiting for long time of their procedure. Enjoy the services of Indian Railways. Still the general enquiry phone number can work.

The website is totally useless website with all popups.
I don’t think this is reliable. I checked this site for info on a train, and it told me the train was on schedule. When checking on the ground by calling someone, I was informed it was at least 2 hours late.
Not trustebale site…
all information is wrong…
not update train late information..
its heppans only in INDIA….
MERA BHARAT MAHAN……
JAY HIND….
What can I do if their service is so bad. Presently this is only the portal to access train running live information.
Now where is 2506 train.
As you mentioned in the comments, it’s the only resource that at least provides some good information about the timings. So, although it might be having glitches in showing the exact train timings, the site is a good resource.
