Nokia has already announced the launch of their C Series mobile phones which are Dual SIM mobile phone price same as that of single GSM SIM will be launched in 4th Quarter of 2010. Now we will also see Nokia is all set to launch Bicycle Charger Kit within few months.
This Bicycle Charger works on the concept of pedal power. The charger kits starts working when you are pedaling at a speed of 4mph and when you attain a speed of 7.5 mph your phone will be charged at a rate of normal electronic wired chargers. An approximate ten minutes at 6 mph will give you a talktime of 28 minutes or 37 minutes of standby time.
This kit will be available at the price of Rs 800 in India and will certainly be a boost in the rural India.
The concept looks great, and the generation of power by using the pedaling force is something new and unique. At 800 bucks, this is not such a pricey thing too.
