If this offer could have been for unlimited and for urban cities then I could have gone with it blindly because 2Mbps Speed is ultimate speed but sad to all metro cities in India.

BSNL in attempt to attract the rural customers and bring in new technology in India has launched Rural USO 99 Scheme under which people who are opting for Internet Connection will get 2Mbps speed for just Rs 99 per month but this is not unlimited, you will get a maximum usage of 400 MB data per month.

Another plan is also available under BSNL Broadband Rural Plans which is Rural USO 150 plans by which you get 1GB of data usage per month.

This will certainly brings a revolution in rural development and they will be able to connect with the Internet with their computer now. More than 70% of the Indian population comes under rural and many Indian IT professions are from that background so if they are doing job in metro cities then they can stay connected with there dearest ones and their upcoming generation can learn the technology.
