Its a good news that BSNL has launched 3G services in India but seems like even the service provider are not aware of 3G and its services.
Last week I purchased BSNL 3G Prepaid SIM Card through BSNL office nearby. They took 24 hours to activate the SIM card and when I went up for the FRC of 120 rs through e-recharge, didn’t get balance added upto 3 hours from the time of recharge and this problem was with around 30% of the customer. So that was recharge problem that I faced with.
The story doesn’t ends here. If you contact customer care from BSNL 3G SIM (Customer Care Number 9400024365) they you have only the guide and details uploaded but no customer care support. They have the option but nobody will lift your call from the BSNL call centre side. So a bad Customer Care Support.
When I went for FRC recharge I came out with a Phamplet of BSNL 3G with a Toll Free number printed saying For more info call 1800 180 1503. But very worst thing is that this number is not yet registered. So why damn print it on the phamplet and make the customers fool my selling BSNL 3G SIM cards.
Still more, now you check Internet is not active on my mobile (Samsung C6625 Windows Mobile Phone with 3G & GPS). I approached BSNL Office again regarding this but they are clueless and there is not much information available on their website too.
And moreover BSNL 3G SIM cards are priced at Rs 59, then you need to recharge with FRC of Rs 120 which doesn’t give you any balance but just validity of 6months and then you need to opt for plans accordingly.
So, look like 3G is the way to make money for BSNL. And once the 3G auctions were finished we have talks of 4G to be released in India. So if you are thinking of 4G then why was whole the drama of 3G then?
Even the speed is very bad for BSNL. I get maximum 50 kbps download speed. But the upload speed is simply useless. Its maximum 15 kbps. So you cant use this service for video or voice chat at all. Since the upload is very slow, the two way chat services becomes impossible to use.
Your case can fall in to three reason
1. Maybe it can happen that you receive a low signal from your location.
2. Speed is dependent on the handset that you are using.
3. Other effects like browser, cache, virus.
So to clear the 3 reason you need to format your phone and reinstall everything, this can give you speed.
this not true.bsnl improving their status.in kolkata no one is best internet service provider than bsnl…..ONE thing you should consider that bsnl is govt undertaking concern that is why it we can’t expect responds status like private player.
